My Horror Story...

A group of students hear about a rave deep in the woods. All up for it, they get ready round Toms house after college. Taking their own drink, and have a pre-party party. The girls get a little too drunk. But the boys don’t mind. Danny drives the friends over to the woods. They think they get lost deep in the country roads, but eventually find their way there. The girls hurry off and start dancing. But the lads have a beer and suss out where they actually are and where they’ve come from – finding their bearings. They figure out where they think they are, grab a beer and go find the girls. They’re loving it. The party is packed. People are everywhere. Everyone from school. All their new friends from college. It’s great.

Just as the sun goes down, when things are just about still visible. Someone notices some people standing around the party. Not doing anything, just watching. They ignore them, but a couple of others start to notice after a while. They think it could be the police. But still ignore it. But then strange things start going on at the party. A girl has gone missing. The music keeps being ‘interfered’ with. The lights flash. Strange things.

The group try and stick together. But Danny’s gone missing as well. The people have got him. Tom takes charge. Keeping the girls – who have had enough now – hopes up. More strange things happen. Glimpses of things in the woods. Strange noises. They find the car. Or where it was anyway. So they begin to go back to the party. Calling for help on their way. When they return to the party, they find the car, right there in the middle, but everyone has gone. They call for help again, but nothing. No signal on their phones. They get in the car. And decide to sleep in the car, and wait for the day time...

But they are woken by the ‘people’ that they saw before. Who turn out to be a cannibalistic family living on the land the party was held on. Without Danny’s car keys, the guys cannot do much with the car, so they make a run for it. Losing each other in the process.

I cant decide where to take the characters after this, but the film would progress in a similar way to "The Hills Have Eyes", "Wrong Turn" and "Eden Lake". However, I think there is enough detail above to create a trailer.
